This is where every month, we chose a game, a system, a character, a free/online game, an iPod app and a pokemon (this is an extra category since there are so many). These systems/characters/games may be the worst you could imagine or a gamecon winner. We write about the game and review it. Just click on the game/system/character to see a description.

Our Review:
VVVVVV is a great platformer with difficult levels that make you want to try over and over again. This is in no way a bad game. The classic retro style may not have the best graphics but that doesn't change anything. The music and tough level design fit well together and the story is small but awesome. You basically are Captain Viridian in some strange place after your ship crashed and need to explore and find the rest of your crew. I highly recommend this to fans of platformers and retro style games. If you want to get into platformers this might be a challenge for you so try something easier like Mario or Kirby then maybe move on to games like this or Super Meat Boy. But if your a new gamer looking for a challenge then you should definitely try this out. This game is on PC, Mac, and Linux for $4.99 and on the Nintendo 3DS eShop for $ 7.99 so it might be cheaper if you buy it on a Computer but if you want 3D effects and to play on the go the extra $3 are worth it.
